phpmailer complications for spam filters "-f"

You've got your transports mixed up. -f in the mail() function is an additional parameter passed to the underlying sendmail binary that sets the envelope sender of the message (and officially it should not have a space after it, like However, it does not apply when you are sending via SMTP because you get control over that parameter with the Sender property. You should do this:

$mail->Sender = '';

If you send using SMTP it will use that as the envelope sender (as the content of the SMTP MAIL FROM command), and if you send via isMail() or isSendmail() transports, it will set the sender via the -f property.

Also make sure you're using the latest PHPMailer from GitHub.

The -f in the sendmail command should not have a space between it and the sender address, so it should be not -f This is built in to PHPMailer's command lines when it calls sendmail, so I doubt that's the problem. The parameter that is passed to it is called the envelope sender and should be an email address (it's where bounces go). It does not have to be the sa

sencha apply a set of filters at once
setFilters only changes the filters property of the store. In order to trigger filter actions call the function filter. This is normally used to add a filter in the style 'property,value' to the filterset, but when no arguments are given it filters the store.

Crossfilter: Bypass filters on other dimensions
Doing a filter on a unique value dimension in order to retrieve a single record is really inefficient in Crossfilter. What that will do is remove all records except for the single record from all groups, then add them all back when you remove the filter. This means that your group aggregation addition and subtraction functions will run twice on each of these records, really for no reason at all.
