How to enable Rubocop with Syntastic Vim plugin and Rbenv?

Syntastic is loading the wrong version of Ruby. From your command line, enter ruby -v && which ruby.

Now, change the second line of the settings to:

let g:syntastic_ruby_rubocop_exec
= '/Users/jjasonclark/.rbenv/shims/ruby
/Users/jjasonclark/yourprojectname/bin/rubocop'

Using whatever paths which ruby and which rubocop show you.

how to enable selector in jquery plugin
Normally this would return to current selector: jQuery.fn.testPlugin = function(options){ return this.each(function(){ //having code here assigns like you wanted : $('p').testPlugin(); $(this).css('color', 'red'); }); }; Now, you can apply this: $('p').testPlugin(); But since if you wanted to have both way: Just use the following way: jQuery.fn.testPlugin = function(options){

jQuery Validate plugin, enable submit button when form is valid
$('form').find(':input').each(function(index, value){ //action for every element $(value); }); In this case you can do this that way: (but I dont like this solution) var areSomeFieldsEmpty = false; $('form').find(':input').each(function(i, v){ if ($(v).val().length <= 0){ areSomeFieldsEmpty = true; } }); if (!areSomeFieldsEmpty){ //unlock form } http://jsfiddle.net/8

rbenv Your Ruby version is 2.0.0, but your Gemfile specified 2.1.2
What version of ruby are you using? ruby -v It sounds like the Gemfile has a ruby requirement listed for 2.1.2. You may need to install that version: rbenv install 2.1.2 Then you may need to tell rbenv to use that version for that project: rbenv local 2.1.2 It looks like the rbenv team/community decided against adding support for ruby versions specified in the Gemfile. Can't access jquery plugin's external function when plugin created inside event
I found the solution so I will just post it here for future reference: var coverCanvasObj = null; var divContainer = $('<div/>'); coverCanvasObj = divContainer.testClass({ option1:2, option2:tru }); So I just needed to access the testClass object outside the render/container Div.

How to get the latest changes in custom Grails plugin from artifactory without deleting the plugin from .grails folder?
Best practice to manage plugins is to change the plugin version whenever you modify the plugin code. For example, your current version is 0.1 and when you change something in domain or somewhere else then change the version to 0.2 or something else in your plugin descriptor file and then release the plugin. Now use that new version 0.2 in your BuildConfig.groovy as compile ":mycustomplugin:0.1".
