Groupby to csv file

If you just want the unique combinations from the two columns, call drop_duplicates() on those columns:

unique_combs = data[['one',
'two']].drop_duplicates()

unique_combs
Out[32]:
  one two
0   a   z
1   a   y
2   b   y

C# GroupBy passing value to Key but not including it in GroupBy logic
You can't modify the key and add an additional data, you can project your GroupBy results to an anonymous type where you could append roleID from the first element of your group like: var query = fooList.GroupBy(r => r.locationID) .Select(grp => new { Key = grp.Key + grp.First().roleID }); Or you can do: var query = fooList.GroupBy(r => r.locationID) .Select(gr

Pandas-way to groupby like itertools.groupby
You could use diff followed by cumsum to give each group of Trues and Falses its own number: import numpy as np import pandas as pd x = np.arange(0,4*np.pi,0.1) y = np.sin(x) df = pd.DataFrame(y, index=x) mask = np.sin(df[0])>=0 groupnum = mask.diff().fillna(method='bfill').fillna(0).cumsum() print([(key, grp.head()) for key, grp in df.groupby(groupnum)]) yields [(0, 0 0.0 0.0

How to sort after join and groupby
To order the items in the group, just call OrderBy: var query = from p in _productRepository.Table join ps in _productScheduleRepository.Table on p.Id equals ps.ProductId where ... group new{ p, ps } by p.Id into Grouped select Grouped.OrderBy(pair => pair.ps.end).FirstOrDefault().p;

angular-filter nested groupby
Your data structure doesn't correspond to your code logic. This works fine: <!DOCTYPE html> <html ng-app="app"> <head> <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.2.22/angular.js"></script> <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/angular-filter/0.4.7/angular-filter.js"></script> <script>

Linq to sql for groupby giving timeout
Maybe Linq to Sql generated not effective Sql query? You can try to fetch all data before apply GroupBy operation. Like this: var vrdetails = vrtemp.ToList().GroupBy(x => x.CompName); In that case you run GroupBy operation on server side. It will increase volume of transferred data but it can work more effective on Sql server
