Ok I found a solution :) Solution: Instantiate my controller and give AppDelegate as argument: var window: UIWindow? var phController:PHController? func application(application: UIApplication, didFinishLaunchingWithOptions launchOptions: [NSObject: AnyObject]?) -> Bool { self.phController = PHController(delegate:self) return true } Initializer of PHController: var delegate:App
