Text Objects for displaying live text on screen with Processing + Eclipse

If you don't find a library to do it, here's a minimal implementation. If you like, I could wrap it up in a library so that the objects draw themselves. If you're using eclipse, you'll probably need to add some parent.s before the PApplet calls.

TextObject to;

void setup(){
  size(400,400);
  to = new TextObject("test", 0, height/2);
}

void draw(){
  background(0);
  if(frameCount % 300 == 0) to.set(0, height/2);
  to.move(1,0);
  to.display();
}

class TextObject
{
  float x, y;
  String text;
  PFont f;

  TextObject(String s, float x, float y){
    this.x = x;
    this.y = y;
    this.text = s;
    f = createFont("Georgia", 32);
  }
  TextObject(String s, float x, float y, PFont f){
    this.x = x;
    this.y = y;
    this.text = s;
    this.f = f;
  }
  void set(float x, float y){
    this.x = x;
    this.y = y;
  }
  void move(float dx, float dy){
    x += dx;
    y += dy;
  }
  void display(){
    textFont(f);
    text(text, x, y);
  }
}

NullPointerException when integrating Processing into Eclipse
So I found out the error. In the constructor of my TagsCloud object, I was initializing the Tag object and attempting to pass a ref to the TagsCloud object into it. However, the TagsCloud constructor has not finished executing and so the TagsCloud object has not yet been fully initialized, hence the NullPointerException

In Processing.js, how to declare an object type and an array of objects?
As I understand your question, you want to translate your code from processing.js based on JavaScript to processing based on Java. You can do it like this: class Mover{ float xPos, yPos; float cloudColor; public Mover(float xPos, float yPos, float cloudColor){ this.xPos = xPos; this.yPos = yPos; this.cloudColor = cloudColor; } } ArrayList<Mover> movers = new ArrayList

Displaying Deck of Cards on Android's Different Screen Sizes
It depends on how you build the layouts. But essentially you should look into using displayMetrics: How to get screen display metrics in application class You can use that to determine the size (width/height) of the screen. You could also use nested, weighted LinearLayouts : How to set layout_weight attribute dynamically from code? There might be warnings about it being "slow" - but with this

UIWebView is displaying white screen when loading rtf/docx documents
Basically, the idea is to clear the webview before you load another document on screen. The code is in C#, but you can easily convert it to Objective-C/Swift: // clear the webview so that successive calls display the document correctly webView.LoadRequest (NSUrlRequest.FromUrl (NSUrl.FromString ("about:blank")));

how to stop objects from being dragged off screen
What you could do is make the monkey a dynamic physics body, and then put essential for static walls on the outside of the screen. This should theoretically prevent the user from dragging the monkey outside of a given space. Another way you might me able to do that is to have a runtime event check if the monkey is outside of a current area, to move them to a different area. For example: functi
