Simple issue that is hard to resolve - order of data in a report - SSRS
You can do this by using a switch statement in the expression/function related to the sort. Under 'sorting options' add a new sort line item (or modify the existing item) by clicking the expression button to the right (Fx) Then Modify the sort expression similar to this: =fields!businessname.value = "TIME", Format(CDate("timeslot"),"hh:mm tt"). I have not tested the expression but that sho

Subscription mails of SSRS not being fired after moving SSRS to new server
Verify that email setup is done properly in the new instance of SSRS by means of creating a new subscripion. If when creating a new subscription you don´t have the email choice, then you need to go to SSRS Configuration Manager and setup in the email tab your smtp server. You can see how it looks like in this image screenshot Hope this helps

SSRS distinct lookupset function
You don't need Linq, but you do still need custom code (in BIDS go to Report -> Report Properties -> Code) You can put a RemoveDuplicates function in here, something like this: Public Shared Function RemoveDuplicates(m_Array As Object()) As String() System.Array.Sort(m_Array) Dim k As Integer = 0 For i As Integer = 0 To m_Array.Length - 1 If i > 0 AndAlso m_Array(i).Equal

How do you modify SQL Server report embedded image file
An embedded image will be included in the .rdl file as a binary resource and you can usually see this at the very bottom of your .rdl file when you view source. You should be able to load the report in the ide and view the image. The ImageData in the Embedded image is base64 of the image. So you would need to convert from base64 string to the proper format. See this link for an tool this guy made

Calculated Measure based on multiple dimensions. Ignore some dimensions
If you change it to the aggregation of a set of tuples across that measure does it still function? WITH MEMBER [measures].[x] AS Aggregate( {( [dim1].[dim1].[certainDim1_Member] ,[dim2].[dim2].[certainDim2_Member] ,[dim3].[dim3].[all] ,[dim4].[dim4].[all] ,[dim5].[dim5].[all] )}, [measures].[a] )

SSRS Show a percentage of a a total value
= fields!product.value / sum(fields!product.value) in its most basic form you would want to use something like this. The first will give you the total of the current row of data and the second will give you the total of all rows of that product. Thus you would have 10 / 100 (per your example). This is assuming that you have your data structured correctly. Depending on the structure of you r

SSRS expression with missing column not working
From reading your question I think, you have dynamic columns which will be returns conditionally So what you should do is, 1) Create the parameter in the parameter list and set it as the internal and assign the field value to that parameter, suppose the parameter is dyanmicfiledvalue 2) Change your expression as, =IIF(IsNothing(Parameters!dyanmicfiledvalue.value),"alert", Parameters!

SSRS sum max by group
Have you tried =Max(Fields!goal.Value) ? If you need the unscoped grand total this should work. Here is a great MSDN article on Adding Grouping and Totals. Below is an image taken from that article that shows how to set it up. Renders:

Expand tablix upwards when height increases
I don't think you can. Report items such as tablixes have two relevant properties: Height; Top (e.g. Position). Only the first one can be dynamic. The latter can't be part of an expression. There also is not an option to set a fixed bottom (like you could do in CSS).
