make a movie with axes from images matlab
The problem is that the axis setup you are doing is only used in MATLAB and is not saved with the video. To save the axis setup, you can use getframe to create a new frame of the current plot. I suggest the following: vidObj = VideoWriter('sample.avi'); open(vidObj); for num_frame=40:-1:1 % load image filename = sprintf('%s_%d.jpg','new_image/sample_image',num_frame); cmap = colormap

Img not showing in modal on mobile with Bootstrap
You should really post some code and your testing conditions like browser to get the best help. But from what I can see this image (IJ-fullscreen.jpg) is not uploaded to your server, here is the current coded path: img/projects/fullscreen/IJ-fullscreen.jpg which is causing it to not display, because as far as your browser is concerned it doesn't exist. Also your last 2 profile projects have the sa

WP 8.1 Binding image from a http request
If you want to make binding and use asynchronous method, then one way to make it work is to set DataContext to Task and bind to its Result. Stepen Cleary wrote a nice article about that. You will also find some useful information in his answer here. Basing on that answer I've build a sample, which I think you can modify to fulfill your needs. Write a Converter which will return TaskCompletionNoti

Matlab image filtering with vector coefficients
Without another solution, I would brute-force it. If each vector in your 3x3 filter has P elements, I'd apply each element independently and sum the result. %load my image im = imread(fname); %define my kernel h = zeros(3,3,P); % P elements deep h(:,:,1) = [0 1 0; 1 -4 1; 0 1 0]; %first element my kernel h(:,:,2) = [0.2 1.5 0.2; 1.5 -6 1.5; 0.2 1.5 0.2]; %second element %keep adding

Why are black&white images inverted in image processing?
I have come across two reasons for doing this inversion: 1) Inverted image sometimes gives better interpretation (eg. in medical image analysis) 2) When background region of the image capture (black in colour) is needed for segmentation as mentioned in this problem Problems with line detection in Emgu CV

What is commonly used to remove noise and smooth grayscale images?
the use is dependent on your image: averaging filter: widens edges (blurs), used as a low pass filter with only mathematic actions, the down side here is that somtimes you want to keep your edges and average elsewhere, this also creates values that did not exist in the original image. Median Filter: keeps original image values integrity, very good for salt and pepper noise, sometimes you specif

How do we design images/graphics that look hand drawn?
If you want hand-drawn graphs, use the XKCD style. The examples you gave don't look like something you would describe as "hand-drawn", they have clean shapes and straight lines. Use a vector graphic tool for this, e.g. Inkscape.

How to keep the image in the input when you edit the Entity
You can't automatically fill an upload field as it would induce great security issues. The solution to your problem would be to define your image fields as not required if there already are images (ie: the object is not new).

My exists function says the file exists, but winapi functions say it does not
Problem 1: String Conversions Your primary problem is that you are attempting to use LPCWSTR (a const wchar_t *) and const char * interchangeably. I see a number of issues in your source, in particular: You start with const char * image_name. You then cast it to a LPCWSTR to pass to SetWallpaper. This basically guarantees that SetWallpaper will fail, as desktop->SetWallpaper is not able to h

Serve images using web server
Sure. You can use "image_filter" [1] directive to automatically generate thumbnails or reduced images. Additionally, you can combine it with "proxy_store" [2] and "try_files" [3] directives to save already processed images on disk and serve them first, saving your CPU cycles by not resizing each requested image. How can I decompose an image into 8 x 8 pixel blocks?
The reason why is because you have more image blocks to show than you have subplot spaces when plotting. Change your for loop code to this instead: p = 1; figure; for c=1:size(ca,1) for r=1:size(ca,2) subplot(size(ca,1),size(ca,2),p); %// Change imshow(ca{c,r}); p=p+1; end end This way, you will have as many subplot spaces to plot as you have pixel blocks to show.

Jquery Slider Images loading
I think the problem is related with lazyload plugin; it removes the correct image source path. Try to disable it or paste this code into window load function. $('img.lazy').each(function(){ var data = $(this).attr('data-original'); $(this).attr('src',data) }) Please let me know, did it solve the issue or not.

Racket merging two images (background picture with another one) image->color-list
You don't actually need to turn each image into a list of colors. The overlay function and friends will compose images for you: (define (compose-two-images img1 img2) (overlay img1 img2)) I'm not sure exactly how this fits into the sample code you posted, you may want to be more specific about what outerProcedure is supposed to do.

Trying to invert binary image gives me full black screen
Your input data might not be pure black and white, but have shades of gray. For example, if binary_red was 1 (near black), then inverted_red would be 0 (black), not 254 (near white). Try bit inverting with the ~ operator. assign inverted_red = ~binary_red; assign inverted_green = ~binary_green; assign inverted_blue = ~binary_blue; Everything shown so far is for a single pixel, not the enti

Unity3D: Image is not saving in HDD
Application.CaptureScreenshot() has atleast 2 subtle use issues that come to mind: On iOS it won't accept a path, it will only write to the Documents folder. So your "SavedScreen.png" is going to be in: Application.persistentDataPath + "/screenshot.png"; It is asynchronous, so the file will take a few frames (if not a second) to write to the file system. And it doesn't tell you when it is finis

find out rotation using phase correlation in matlab
Typically, this kind of problem is solved with a Fourier-Mellin algorithm, Matlab implementation here. A potential approach is the use of a log-polar transform prior to phase correlation. The log-polar sampling maps changes in uniform scaling and rotation into translations along the radial and circumferential axes. See the complete description of the algorithm in this paper: Reddy, B. Remove lens distortion from images captured by an wide angle (180) camera
The most common method (used by the Oculus Rift Runtime for example) draws a fine enough textured grid for which the texture coordinates or the grid node positions are chosen to compensate the distortion. To obtain the grid normally one fits a polynomial or a spline to some reference picture. For example the checkerboard in your camera is a common calibration target.

Bootstrap responsive image not working
Bootstrap's responsive image class sets max-width to 100%. This limits its size, but does not force it to stretch to fill parent elements larger than the image itself. You'd have to use the width attribute to force upscaling. http://getbootstrap.com/css/#images-responsive
